This page says what the game keeps about you, why it keeps it, and how you can delete it.
If you play as a guest
- You do not need an account. You can play every mode as a guest.
- The game saves your settings, your level and your coins in your own browser (local storage). This stays on your device.
- The game also keeps a random guest id for your coins on our server. This id is not linked to your name.
If you sign in with Google
- Google tells us your name, your email address and a Google account number.
- We use them only to keep your coins, items and level safe, and to show your name in the game.
- We do not get your Google password. We do not read your mail, contacts or files.
- We never sell your data and we never send you marketing mail.
Online and Friends games
- Rooms live only in the server's memory while you play. When the game ends, the room is gone.
- Other players in your room see the name you choose and your reactions.
Play numbers
- The game sends small notes such as "a game started" or "a game ended", with a random id. We use them to count how many people come back to play.
- These notes have no name, no email and no IP address.
Bug reports
- When you press "Report a bug", we get your text, the game version, your screen size, your browser and the board of the game.
- A bug report has no name and no email.
Ads
- The game shows ads from Google (Google AdSense and Google H5 Games Ads). These ads pay for the game.
- Google may use cookies and your device's ad id to show ads and to count them. In some countries Google asks you first.
- Read how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
Where the data is kept
- Coins and accounts are kept on Cloudflare. Some game rooms run on a server in Mumbai, India.
- We keep your account while you use it. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.
Children
The game is for everyone. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. A child under 13 should play as a guest and should not sign in.
Delete your data
- Guest data: clear the site data for this game in your browser.
- Google account data: send a mail to info@grincade.com from the same email address. We delete your account within 30 days.
- You can also remove the game's access at myaccount.google.com/connections.
